PrEP Awareness Week is happening again this year between Monday 27th November and Sunday 3rd December — if you’re not already on the medication, this could be a great time to begin doing so.
What is PrEP?
Short for Pre-Exposure Prophylaxis, it involves taking pills containing the drugs Tenofovir and Emtricitabine to protect you from catching HIV
It’s a great tool in the fight against HIV, as, when taken correctly, it can prevent people from contracting HIV during sex.
