Spring is round the corner… and so is MIGHTY HOOPLA!! WOO HOO!

Let’s all take a moment to congratulate ourselves on getting through an especially drab January. It was tough, wasn’t it? But it’s done and dusted now. It’s time to focus on the good times ahead — like this year’s Mighty Hoopla, which is just around the corner.

Just in case you needed any more reason to get excited about this annual celebration of uncomplicated queer fun, the head honchos have been kind enough to throw another massive name on top of an already heaving line-up — yes, JADE will now be performing on Saturday along with RnB megastar Ciara. The very next day, Kesha and Loreen top the bill, making it a festival with only female headliners. Don’t see that very often, do ya?

These icons are just the metaphorical cherry on the cake though, as the rest of the line-up is stuffed with an incredibly diverse range of acts. You can binge on nostalgic pop acts belting out hits on the main stages like JoJo, Daphne & Celeste, and Vengaboys, or work up a sweat to the beats of big-name DJs in The Bump arena — Jayda G, Elkka and Girls Don’t Sync among them.

The Queertopia stage is returning once again and shining a light on defiantly unique musicians from all over the world, including Moonchild Sanelly, Hannah Diamond and INJI. Every club night worth its salt will also appear over the two days, including UOKHUN, Beefmince, and Slicc & Thicc.

And it wouldn’t be a Mighty Hoopla if the schedule wasn’t brimming over with drag queens. This includes Drag Race alumni Tayce, Black Peppa and Jimbo the Drag Clown, but also legends of their London postcode like Jonny Woo and Barbs.

As you can imagine, tickets have already been snapped up in huge numbers and they’ll be all gone long before the first day rolls around, so be quick if you want to secure your place at this pop-lovers’ paradise!
