Their story in their own words…
“In 1993, Gerhard came across a small bakery for sale on the corner of Cornwall Road in Waterloo – and so began Konditor. Using the finest natural ingredients and small-batch baking on-site, Gerhard’s cakes not only looked good but tasted good too!Â
As an LGBTQ+ owned and run bakery, Pride Month holds a special place in our hearts. Gerhard and Paul, co-owners and adoptive parents of two wonderful boys, understand the power of love and family. We are thrilled to announce that 10% of our Pride Brownie Sales this month will support New Family Social, an incredible charity dedicated to LGBTQ+ adopters and foster carers.
With one in six adoptions already going to members of the LGBTQ+ community, New Family Social plays a vital role in helping individuals determine if adoption and fostering are the right paths for them. Their support has been invaluable and we cannot recommend them enough.
