We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Store Manager to join our team and lead the Prowler RED Store located at 50 Old Compton Street (www.prowlerred.com).
We are a licensed adult gay retailer in the heart of Soho. As a Flagship Store Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our busy retail store, ensuring exceptional customer service, managing sales, inventory, and dispatching of web orders, as well as leading the team of dedicated employees to ensure the highest standards are achieved every day. This is a key leadership role that requires strong organizational skills, excellent communication abilities, and a passion for delivering results.
Responsibilities:
– Manage all aspects of store operations, including sales, customer service, inventory, employee supervision, staff hiring, training and ongoing coaching
– Develop and implement strategies to drive sales growth and meet or exceed sales targets
– Train and mentor staff members to deliver exceptional customer service and achieve individual and team goals
– Monitor inventory levels and ensure accurate stock replenishment to meet customer demand
– Maintain visual merchandising standards to create an attractive and engaging shopping environment
– Analyse sales data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement
– Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and escalations in a professional and timely manner
– Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, as well as local regulations
– Bring new ideas to the table and stamp to drive the store forward in all areas you are responsible for
– Have a voice at the table for new product development
Experience:
– Proven experience in retail management
– Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively and quickly
– Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
– Ability to sell products effectively and motivate others to do the same
– Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
– Leadership qualities with the ability to inspire and motivate a team every day

Key Responsibilities:
– Assisting and advising customers in-store or via other sales channels.
– Ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction using product knowledge and teaming up with co-workers to provide excellent sales service
– Ability to learn and share expertise of products to fit customers’ needs
– Daily store tasks, including cleaning, re-merchandising, and stock checks, without necessary supervision.
– Managing in-store collections and stock transfers.
– Staying in touch with other departments via internal communication systems.
– Learning how to measure customers during Custom Fit clothing appointments.
– Handling phone calls and dealing with customer enquiries.
Skills & Requirements
– Technically competent with good problem-solving skills
– Previous retail experience advantageous.
– Demonstrate strong communication skills
