In the Know – Give for Glendora
If you’re a regular nighttime visitor to Vauxhall, you’ll more likely than not know Glendora, the colourful queen who’s involved with many of the locale’s most infamous events. Unfortunately, she recently suffered from two heart attacks and a stroke, and will require ongoing care and adjustments to her home. To support her with this change, an event to raise vital funds has been organised on Wednesday 4th June (6pm-11pm) at The Garden outside Fire nightclub — more than 20 drag queens and 6 DJs (including Fat Tony and Raven Mandella) are donating their time and talent, and it promises to be an uplifting evening of entertainment, with all ticket money and extra donations going towards Glendora.
