Panto season kicks off with “Pricked” at RVT!

THE ROYAL VAUXHALL TAVERN PANTO 2021 PRICKED, SLEEPING BEAUTY GOT WOKE – YOUR SECOND DOSE!

The much loved RVT panto is back for 2021 and this time it’s not a dream… or is it?

Last year, thanks to the big bad Covid (boo hiss) we were only able to bring you a few of the planned shows, so we’ve decided to give you what you really need in 2021, a second dose of Pricked!

Written by Tim Benzie and Paul Joseph the script has been given a slight 2021 makeover, but is still the fantastic story of Sleeping Beauty, a princess who wants to be a pop star and has had sex with every boy who wandered into the woods. A hopelessly privileged Prince searching for an independent woman, a Raven with identity issues, a frustrated fairy who’s out of practice… and was never very good to begin with and of course a villain, the magnificent Maleffluent who’s as insecure and as attention seeking as she is evil.

Packed with songs and big laughs, combining all your favourite panto classics this is an adult panto like no other.

Pricked features the same creative team as our three previous pantos, Slipped, Rubbed and Goosed, written by Tim Benzie and Paul Joseph, directed by Tim McArthur with Aaron Clingham returning as Musical Director.
