Night Stage Turns Up the Heat, and the Risk, This April

If you like your cinema with a bit of danger running through it, Night Stage is arriving at exactly the right moment.
Fresh from closing BFI Flare 2025, the film lands in UK cinemas on 3rd April, bringing with it a story that doesn’t hold back.

At the centre of it all, an actor and a politician slip into a secret affair that quickly spirals. What starts as chemistry turns into something more compulsive, with both of them chasing the thrill of public encounters that get riskier each time. It’s not just about desire; it’s about exposure, control, and how far you’ll go when being seen becomes part of the addiction.

Set against that push and pull between private and public lives, the film leans into tension rather than rushing past it. Every choice carries weight, especially when reputation, ambition, and intimacy are all tangled together.

Coming out of Brazil, the film is directed by Marcio Reolon and Filipe Matzembacher, a duo known for exploring queer stories with a sharp, unfiltered edge.

Peccadillo has built a reputation for bringing confident, adult, queer cinema to UK audiences, and this release is no exception.
