We bloody love, spandex, leg warmers and bright colours, just in time for Pride Month and of course, the best tunes first time round, we’re from the 80’s!
So this Saturday, you might find yourself on the edge of the Eagle dance floor. And you might find yourself shouting in the ears of resident DJs Paul Joseph and Gareth Hackney to see if they’ll play Once In A Lifetime by Talking Heads. And you might find yourself loading the Wikipedia page to show that it was released in January 1981, so it can definitely be played at Athena, the club night dedicated to the killer tunes, the unforgettable looks and the outright campiness of the 1980s. Same as it ever was, same as it ever was.
