London is preparing for the return of Fetish Week London, which takes place from 5–12 July and brings together eight days of fetish culture, nightlife, social events and community gatherings across the capital.
Now in its 15th year, the event has become one of the biggest fixtures in London’s LGBTQ+ nightlife calendar, welcoming visitors from across the UK and around the world. This year’s official programme is centred around Electrowerkz, which once again becomes the main hub for many of the week’s key events.
The week begins with Walk With Recon at Pride in London on Saturday 4 July, giving fetish communities a visible presence within the city’s wider Pride celebrations.
Across the week, the official programme includes social events, club nights, shopping experiences and community meetups. The Recon Gear Socials offer a relaxed way for people to connect, whether they are long-time members of the fetish community or exploring it for the first time.
One of the reasons Fetish Week has continued to grow is its welcoming atmosphere. While fetish gear and fashion are a big part of the event, there’s no expectation for people to arrive looking a certain way. The week attracts a broad mix of attendees with different interests, styles and levels of experience.
The official Prowler RED shopping event also returns during the week, giving visitors the chance to explore new gear, brands and accessories connected to the fetish scene.
The nightlife events remain at the centre of the programme.
FULL FETISH returns as one of the week’s flagship club nights, bringing together attendees from across leather, rubber, sportswear, neoprene, uniform and pup communities. The event has built a reputation as one of the defining nights of Fetish Week and continues to attract an international crowd.
RAGE also returns as part of the official schedule, alongside additional themed nights catering to different interests and fetish subcultures throughout the week.
Beyond the nightlife, Fetish Week has become an important community event for many LGBTQ+ people. For some, it offers a space to explore identity and self-expression in an accepting environment. For others, it’s an opportunity to reconnect with friends, meet new people and experience another side of queer London culture.
During the week, bars, clubs and venues across London fill with visitors from across Europe and beyond, creating a strong sense of community and connection throughout the city.
As LGBTQ+ nightlife continues to face challenges around venue closures and rising costs, events like Fetish Week remain an important reminder of the value of dedicated queer spaces and communities.
Whether attending for the nightlife, the social side, the fashion, or simply out of curiosity, Fetish Week continues to hold a unique place within London’s summer calendar.
