‘It’s A Sin’ star Nathaniel Hall joins the Gay London Life team!

We are super excited to announce that Nathaniel Hall is joining the Gay London Life family!

Many of you will know Nathaniel from his time in hit TV shows, ‘It’s a Sin’ & ‘Cucumber’, however, his talents don’t stop there!
He’s the creative mastermind behind Dibby Theatre, with their most recent production ‘First Time’ winning rave reviews & awards.
His work is always thought-provoking and shines a light on important subjects such as HIV within the community.
We can’t wait to share with you his point of view and experiences.

Here’s what Nathaniel had to say..

I’m over the moon to be joining the Gay London Life team as a regular contributor. Expect social justice and empassioned activism peppered with Jane McDonald appreciation pieces and maybe a few laughs along the way. A northerner through and through I can’t wait to bring a ray of northern sunshine (and rain) to the GLL pages and prove that it’s not all grim up north.

Nathaniel Hall is an award-winning writer, actor and HIV activist from Manchester who has lived with HIV since 2003.

First Time, his award-winning solo show about his life with HIV, received audience and critical acclaim on tour, and his story has been seen by millions in broadcast, digital and print.

Nathaniel also appeared as Donald Bassett in hit Channel 4 HIV drama It’s A Sin by Russell T Davies as the only openly HIV+ member of the cast.

He’s passionate about ending HIV stigma and shame through his work and advocates for a world where everyone can live and thrive as their authentic selves.

He is Co-Artistic Director of Dibby Theatre, an LGBTQ-led theatre company from Manchester and dad to two dogs, Peggy and Fred.
