Right at the front of every Gay London Life, you’ll find “In The Know”, a column of all the cool goings on that month. This month we want to showcase a few events celebrating queer heritage and community happening across LGBTQ+ History Month.

GAYDIO NETWORKING
The UK’s top LGBTQ+ radio station is hosting one of its quarterly networking events on Thursday 6th February, 6pm-9pm, at Hard Rock
Cafe Piccadilly Circus. Ticket price includes a welcome cocktail or mocktail, as well as a selection of savoury and sweet canapes. gaydio.co.uk

LGBTQIA+ TOURS OF TATE MODERN
Join a tour of items in the Tate collection with an LGBTQ+ connection. This month, these take place on Saturday 15th and Saturday 22nd (both 3pm-4pm). You don’t need to pre-book a place, simply head to Level 2 in the Natalie Bell Building. tate.org.uk

OUT AT SEA
A trio of Greenwich museums — Cutty Sark, National Maritime Museum and Queen’s House — are hosting a selection of free, family- friendly activities themed around LGBTQ+ History Month across the February half term (15th-23rd). Book online at rmg.co.uk

FORUM+
The LGBTQ+ charity always hosts a packed schedule of events in Camden and Islington. This year’s programme is themed around activism and social change, and includes art exhibitions, tours and performances — explore the full schedule at forumplus.org.uk

OPEN ARCHIVES
On Thursday 27th February 4-6pm, LSE Library will be displaying an array of LGBT+ materials from its archive, with staff on hand to answer any questions. This is free, but anybody interested in attending should reserve a spot at eventbrite.co.uk
