From dancing grooves to running shoes: Paul Joseph takes on an epic 90km charity challenge

More used to playing “Running Up That Hill” than actually running up a hill himself.

To mark his 45th Birthday Paul Joseph, head boy at Athena and 80:20 at Eagle, is swimming and running 45 kilometres in 45 days – 90 kilometres in total.

This is a significant number because every 90 minutes someone is reported missing in the UK, so Paul is raising funds for Missing People – the only charity that is there 7 days a week for anyone affected by missing.

Paul works for the charity as Head of Helplines and Reconnections and was a helpline volunteer there before that, so knows firsthand the incredible work the charity does.

It’s 116 000 helpline is there for young people and adults who have left home or run away, people who are thinking of leaving home, and the families that are left behind.

You can donate here https://www.facebook.com/donate/558135058763150/ and follow the fundraiser to see Paul’s progress!
