Wondering how to fill up your Jubilee weekend? The Queen of Soho, Freedom Bar, has your back!
Obviously, we just had a four-day weekend for Easter, but there’s something about the Jubilee one that’s hitting differently. Maybe it’s the fact that it’s a one-off treat or because it’s taking place at the start of summer, but nine-to-five office gals have had these dates ringfenced in their minds since, well, the last Jubillee in 2012 probably.
One of Soho’s most glamorous nightspots, Freedom Bar normally needs no excuse to party, so you don’t even need us to tell you that they’re cooking up something special for this bank holiday bonanza. Starting from Wednesday 1st June and ending on Monday 6th, the dance floor and poles are open until the extended hour of 3am and there are fabulous events each night, including much-loved faves Chic, High on Heels, Kinky Cabaret and#yourfreedom. Add to that a pair of royal-themed cocktails designed especially for the weekend, and you might as well bring an inflatable mattress and set up camp here for the duration. Don’t actually do this, it would be weird.
Freedom Bar, 60-66 Wardour Street, W1F 0TA. Nearest Station: Oxford Circus
