All Day, All Night!
After a star-studded launch last year, Ministry of Pride returns once again to help your post-parade partying go off with a bang!
While it’s true that Pride is a protest and the presence of hundreds of thousands of LGBTQ+ people out on the streets is a powerful political statement, but the annual event’s purpose as an occasion for communities to get together, dance and have a right old good time shouldn’t be overlooked either. Why not both, hey?
With pretty much every gay pub, club and shrub in the capital hosting some sort of party in the evening after the parade, it can be difficult to narrow it down to just one, but iconic DJ and meme-lord Fat Tony has made it a whole lot easier. He’s taking over Ministry of Sound for the second-ever Ministry of Pride party. Starting just after lunch and running until gone past sunrise the next day, you can catch a long list of DJs that reads like a who’s who of London’s queer nightlife.
Ultra-hot club collective OUTHAUS will be taking over the main room during the day, while it’s Joshua James, Raw Silk, Shay Malt, Chris Brogan and Rossi Forde spinning out on the terrace. Once nighttime swings around, Fat Tony himself will be taking to the decks inside, along with The Illustrious Blacks, FKA.M4A, Jess Bays and Paul Morrell. And just in case that wasn’t enough, you’ve also got Mark-Ashley Dupé bringing some afrobeats, dancehall and reggaeton to the mix-up in The Loft. Need we say anymore?
