Blake Rave, the American-born singer, songwriter, and guitar player, has found a home in London’s music scene, merging country roots with an indie pop vibe to create a sound that defies categorization. A lifelong musician, he discovered his love for songwriting at an early age, developing a unique process that starts with a meaningful lyric before building a captivating melody.
Blake’s musical journey has been marked by growth and resilience, beginning with an unexpected first gig that set the stage for his blossoming career. His discography showcases his versatility, featuring the album ‘Dreams and Fears’ as well as multiple singles, including the 2022 release ‘Albatross.’
Known for his commitment to the arts and the LGBTQ+ community, Blake frequently performs at small, artistic venues across London, supporting safe spaces for both fellow artists and community members. Fans can look forward to a steady stream of new music in 2023 as he prepares for the release of his next album, continuing to push boundaries and captivate listeners with his genre-defying sound.
Blake will be showcasing his speakeasy show next Monday 27th March , exclusively at Ted’s Place in Fulham! Entry just £6, showtime 8pm.
Ted’s Place is located at 305a North End Rd, London W14 9NS
