If your idea of Pride is less corporate lanyards and more chaotic queer joy, then clear your diary for Acid’s Reign After Dark.
Taking over the Pleasance in London for one night only on Friday 4 July, this late-night celebration promises camp, cabaret, drag and a dancefloor packed with queer anthems, all hosted by none other than drag icon Bimini.
Created as an after-hours companion to the new queer musical Acid’s Reign, the event brings together cast members and some of the most exciting names from London’s drag and cabaret scene for an unforgettable Pride season party.

And when the performances are over, Bimini takes over the decks for a Silent Disco set featuring queer classics, underground favourites and the kind of songs that guarantee you’ll lose your friends on the dancefloor and reunite with them three songs later.
The organisers describe it as “less corporate Pride, more queer Year 6 school disco”, which frankly sounds exactly like the energy we need right now. Expect high-impact performances, surprise appearances and plenty of beautifully chaotic moments.
Whether you’re heading to the theatre beforehand or simply looking for a Pride season night out with a bit more personality, Acid’s Reign After Dark looks set to be one of the most gloriously unhinged parties of the summer.
