After a decade of delighting (and corrupting) audiences with their queer spin on classic tales, the smutty masterminds are back with Beauty and the Beast: A Horny Love Story – opening this November at the Charing Cross Theatre. Written by the wickedly funny Jon Bradfield and Martin Hooper, this year’s romp takes us to the frosty Scottish village of Lickmanochers, where young Bertie (Matt Kennedy) dreams of escape from his overbearing mum (the glorious Matthew Baldwin) – until he meets a brutish Beast (Keanu Adolphus Johnson) who changes everything.
“It’s a very silly and embarrassingly rude romantic comedy,” says Bradfield. “We can’t wait to share some heartwarming winter laughter with our brilliant audience.”
