Have you ever had a friend that’s gone AWOL for a few weeks and returned to the fray with slightly plumper lips, a smoother forehead, or a hairline a couple of centimetres ahead of where you remember it starting?
Well, a similar thing has happened to ARCH in Clapham. After shutting its doors in mid-February for a two-week break, those who have paid a visit since it reopened at the start of March will have noticed some minor cosmetic improvements, not to mention an enhanced menu of cocktails and mezze platters.
Plus, the opening hours have been extended, which only means one thing – more parties and exciting going-ons. There are regular nights every week, from resident house music DJs playing until the small hours for ARCH Nemesis every Friday and Saturday to the Sunday mid-afternoon Matinee show featuring drag stars and West End singers. In between these, you’ve got a whole raft of one-off events, such as Drag Race queens performing under the Klub Kids banner and the stand-up night happening on Wednesday 30th March.
