Don’t come expecting mezcal-infused cocktails or CBD condom machines in the bog — this is a local East-End pub for local East-End people Local who like a side-order of drag with their bevvies, that is. Cabaret talent from across the capital descends on The Old Ship every weekend and drinkers are treated to a bit of a show and a sing-song. How civilised.
And would you guess what? It’s all for free. No presale ticket links or queuing on the street — just ordering a pint, finding a seat and watching a big-wigged diva tackle When You’re Good To Mama.
