On Friday 20th of March, the team behind JAKE are taking over The Willow Room, the usually private members’ club tucked inside the very stylish Aethos hotel in Shoreditch, and turning it into a big gay Friday night out.
If you’ve not come across JAKE before, their whole thing is hosting social nights for gay Londoners in places you wouldn’t normally find a queer party. Instead of the usual club circuit, they pop up in beautiful hotels, rooftop spaces, restaurants, and members’ clubs across the city. It makes a night out feel just that extra bit special.
This time, they’ve secured The Willow Room, a sleek lounge hidden inside Aethos on Willow Street. It’s a gorgeous space, think plush sofas, a seriously good-looking bar, gorgey cocktails and enough room to dance once the DJ gets going.
